Biodegradable tableware becomes the focus in the market

The 2021 China International Environmental Research Symposium will be held in Beijing. It is understood that a series of environmental service activities led by the International Green Economy Association have become an important part of the seminar. The theme of this environmental service exhibition is "Green Technology Leads Green Development, Environmental Services Ensures Healthy Homes", and focuses on the application of high-precision energy and environmental technology and the intelligent system of urban environmental services. A "green technology application" financial media display wall is set up , using mobile internet and other technologies to demonstrate green technology application scenarios. According to incomplete statistics, there are more than 30 companies in the environmental service exhibition area. By visiting the exhibition area, the reporter talked to the leaders of some enterprises and learned about their differentiated green environmental protection solutions.

A short small party was also held at the seminar. It is worth noting that the tableware used at the party is made of biodegradable materials, including: biodegradable party plates, biodegradable cutlery and water glasses, etc. It has established a model monument for the theme of green environmental protection.

In the world, landscaping waste is often treated as garbage, but the amount of landscaping waste generated every year is huge. Taking Beijing as an example, nearly 4 million tons of landscaping waste cannot be used as resources every year, resulting in great waste. However, in areas where soil organic matter is scarce in the city, there is a great demand for organic matter products. In the past, most organic products had to be transported from other places, and the quality was also mixed. The advent of biodegradable products has won unanimous praise from international environmental protection organizations, and has also found a fundamental destination for green waste, which greatly reduces the waste of resources.

At present, a biodegradable tableware company can produce more than 10 million sets of degradable tableware a year, while Beijing consumes more than 2 million sets a day. It still needs to attract funds and continue to expand production. Today, when cities across the country advocate the ban on plastics, the production of degradable disposable tableware is also the general trend in the future.

It is understood that the biodegradable party plate is produced by using economic crops such as potatoes, cassava, and corn as raw materials, together with environmentally friendly raw materials such as wood pulp fiber (garden waste), to produce degradable ones. The degradation rate can reach 100%; due to the different composition of raw materials, some pallets have a degradable rate of over 96%.
